A stigma that I have personal experience with and would like to break would be the idea that nonbinary trans people are not real or invalid. Gender is fluid and doesn’t exist within a strict binary.

I’ve always been very open about my period, sharing my tips and tricks, talking about my symptoms, and discussing my experiences. I wish that people were more open about it because it’s a bodily function and it’s natural. It’s normal, and it’s okay to talk about. I hope that soon we reach that point.

Every menstruator should find an outlet that gives them the space to think and process their negative period symptoms. I myself run. The movement helps with the physical symptoms, but also gives me time to think and care for my mental health which has made my period experience so much better.
